RG Kar hospital horror: CM Mamata Banerjee has fixed rate card for rape victims, says parents’ lawyer

The counsel representing the family of the 31-year-old doctor who was brutally raped and murdered at R G Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata criticised West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s handling of the case. Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya alleged that Banerjee attempted to ‘buy silence’ from victims and witnesses and orchestrated vandalism at the hospital.
