Rifts in opposition bloc, Omar refuses to share seats with PDP

The INDIA bloc encountered a setback in Jammu and Kashmir as National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah dismissed the possibility of a seat arrangement with Mehbooba Mufti’s Peoples Democratic Party in the upcoming parliamentary polls. Despite this, he reiterated his dedication to the opposition alliance that encompasses both parties. Omar also issued a word of caution to his fellow INDIA constituents, advising against personal attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that such tactics can ultimately backfire for the opposition.
