Rising teenage shuttler Riyan Malhan, India’s loss is UAE’s gain

Riyan Malhan, once a top Indian shuttler, won a historic bronze medal for UAE in the Under-15 singles category at the Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Junior Championships 2024. The 14-year-old opted to represent UAE after training in India, including at the Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand academies.
