Royalty for three critical minerals approved, stage set for mine auction

The government on Wednesday approved the royalty rates for mining of three critical and strategic minerals – lithium, niobium and rare earth elements (REE), paving the way for unlocking domestic potential for production of building blocks for energy transition, medical diagnostic equipment and high-tech applications.
