Rs 250 crore iron ore theft: 7-years of rigorous imprisonment for Karnataka Congress MLA

A Bengaluru court sentenced Congress MLA Satish Sail and six others to seven years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a Rs 44 crore fine in connection with the Rs 250 crore Belekeri port iron ore theft and illegal export case. Justice Santhosh Gajanan Bhat ordered them to share the financial penalty equally, sending a strong message against corruption.
