Russian shelling kills three women in Ukraine’s east, governor says

In the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, Russian shelling killed three women and injured a man in the village of Cherkaske. Cluster munitions were used in the attack, damaging nine houses and cars. The local governor urged residents to evacuate immediately. Russia has denied accusations of targeting civilians since its full-scale invasion began in February 2022.
