SC bins PIL against Amritpal’s poll win

The Supreme Court declined to address a PIL challenging radical preacher Amritpal Singh’s election as Lok Sabha MP from Khadoor Sahib. The petitioner claimed Singh didn’t show allegiance to the Constitution. The bench advised filing an election petition instead. Singh, leader of ‘Waris Punjab De’, was granted parole on July 5 to take his oath.
