SC to hear ‘Sena’ dispute on April 8, Shinde’s reply due by April 1

The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for the petition filed by Uddhav Thackeray’s faction regarding the ‘Sena vs Sena’ dispute on April 8. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s faction has been instructed by the court to submit a response to Uddhav Thackeray’s group’s plea by April 1. The court has called for all original records related to the disqualification of MLAs, including the Chief Minister, from the office of the Maharashtra Speaker.
