Scientists map human, primate brains at cellular and genetic levels

Scientists from around the world have collaborated to map the genetic, cellular, and structural makeup of the human brain and the nonhuman primate brain. The detailed mapping allows for a deeper understanding of the brain’s function and dysfunction at the cellular level, paving the way for precision therapeutics for mental disorders and other brain illnesses.
