Several animals trapped in Meerut building debris

A three-storey building in Zakir Colony, Meerut, collapsed following heavy rains, killing ten family members. Rescue teams pulled out 15 people from the debris; five survived with one critically injured. The building also housed a cattle dairy where several animals were trapped. Authorities are still assessing the exact number of animal casualties.
