Shimla DM: Verificationof migrant labourers mandatory

District magistrate Anupam Kashyap issued regulations mandating that migrant laborers in Shimla must submit personal details and photographs to the police before employment. Employers, contractors, and traders found violating this will face penalties under BNSS 2023. The order will be in effect for the next two months.
