Shimla protest: Mosque panel ready to demolish illegal portion

In response to protests by Hindu organisations over an illegal mosque construction in Sanjauli, the masjid committee has expressed willingness to demolish the unauthorized section if ordered. The municipal commissioner will soon decide on this matter. Additionally, a 3-hour bandh was held in Shimla protesting police action during the demonstrations.
