‘Shogun’ poised to make Emmy history as first non-english drama winner

‘Shogun,’ based on James Clavell’s novel, is expected to be the first non-English-language winner of the Emmy for best drama. The series has already won 14 technical awards. Other potential winners include ‘The Bear’ and Netflix’s ‘Baby Reindeer.’ Eugene and Daniel Levy will host the ceremony in Los Angeles.
