Silkyara impact: All long tunnels to go through tighter technical scrutiny

Following the Silkyara Tunnel collapse in Uttarakhand, the government has set up an expert panel to review long tunnel projects. The road transport ministry plans to construct 74 new tunnels, and this panel will ensure stricter technical scrutiny and adherence to guidelines before project approval.
