Six get life imprisonment for honour killing in UP’s Muzaffarnagar

A fast-track court in Muzaffarnagar has sentenced six individuals to life imprisonment for the honour killing of Farhana, who married Shahid against her family’s wishes. The convicted were fined Rs 35,000 each. Four female relatives were acquitted for lack of evidence. Judge Kamlapati delivered the guilty verdict under Section 302 of the IPC.
