Sports minister presents cash awards to Paris Paralympics medal winners

Sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya honoured India’s para athletes for their historic achievements at the Paris Paralympics, awarding cash prizes to medal winners. Gold medallists received Rs 75 lakh each. Mandaviya assured continued support for para-athletes to excel in future events, aiming for strong performances in Los Angeles 2028 and potentially hosting the Olympics and Paralympics in 2036.
