Squall 1: 5.41pm, Alipore, 84kmph + Squall 2: 6pm, Dum Dum, 62kmph = Kolkata in a mess

After Mocha’s landfall in Myanmar on Sunday, as a parting gift, Kolkata on Monday received a squall in the form of a norwester for the first time this month. It had a maximum wind speed of 84kmph, which led to power outage and uprooting of trees across the city.
