Star Singer: K S Chithra recollects recording the iconic humming in the Tamil song ‘Anjali Anjali’

KS Chithra, known as the “Nightingale of South India,” shared the story behind her iconic humming in the Tamil movie Duet. During a recent episode of the music reality show ‘Star Singer’, Chithra revealed that she was given freedom by the music director to improvise the humming. Co-judge Sithara praised Chithra’s humming, saying it took the song to another level. Chithra also performed the popular song ‘Ezhimala Poonchola’ in a previous episode of the show.
