TCP dept set to impose up to 1cr fine for hill cutting, says min Rane

The town and country planning department vowed to impose fines up to Rs. 1 crore for illegal hill cutting. TCP minister Vishwajit Rane stated no permissions were granted for hill cutting in the past six months. New guidelines, including soil stabilisation reports, will be introduced to prevent violations and ensure strict action is taken against offenders.
