TCS sacks 16 employees, 6 vendors entities debarred

TCS has fired 16 employees and removed three from the resource management function in a bribe-for-jobs scandal. Six vendor entities and their affiliates have also been barred from doing business with TCS. The company launched a review after a breach of its code of conduct, with employees accepting bribes from staffing firms. TCS stated that the issue does not involve any fraud or financial impact and that no key managerial person was involved.
