Teacher faces police case for hitting 40 kids with rulers

A teacher in a private school in Dombivli, India, has been accused of assaulting at least 40 students with rulers. The incident came to light after parents staged a protest. The teacher, Nilam Bharmal, had joined the school recently and students complained about her teaching. The parents suspect that she got angry after they complained and assaulted the students. The police have registered a case against the teacher and the school administration has apologized and suspended her.
