Teacher held in MP for raping school student

A 49-year-old government schoolteacher was arrested after being accused of raping a class 11 student in Madhya Pradesh’s Anuppur district. The complaint was filed on August 25. The teacher, also the acting principal, allegedly forced the student to consume alcohol. Several police teams were deployed, leading to his arrest on Thursday.
