Telangana Waqf Board first off the blocks, rejects Centre’s Waqf Amendment Bill 2024

The Telangana Waqf Board, joined by AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and other members, unanimously opposed the Centre’s Waqf Amendment Bill 2024, branding it harmful for waqf properties. Owaisi urged chief ministers of non-BJP states to support this stance. The board planned further actions, including engaging with the joint working committee and hosting a conference for waqf officials.
