Temples are keepers of India’s heritage, says External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar

Describing the significant role of temples in Indian society, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said: “The wheels of history are turning in a rising India in which rich heritage and culture of the country will not be neglected. Temples are not just places for faith and worship but are social community centres. “They are places for gathering and centres for knowledge. They are promoters of art and craft,” he said.
