Tesla proposes building battery storage factory in India -sources

The company aims to support India’s battery storage capabilities with its “Powerwall” system, which can store power from solar panels or the grid for use at night or during outages. While Tesla sought incentives for the factory, Indian officials stated that these would not be available, but subsidies could be offered to customers purchasing the products.
