Thane educational institute director held for taking Rs 1.10 lakh bribe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested a director of an educational institution in Thane for taking a bribe of Rs 1.10 lakh. The director, who also served as the joint secretary, demanded the bribe to reinstate an employee’s increment. The employee complained to the ACB, leading to the director’s arrest near a school.
