This new AI model can detect diseases by scanning tongue photos

Researchers from Iraq and Australia developed an AI algorithm that achieved 98% accuracy in diagnosing diseases through tongue colour analysis. Using 5,260 images including 60 from patients with various conditions, the system identified diseases like diabetes, stroke, and COVID-19. The technology could soon enable smartphone-based health diagnoses.
