Karan Johar revealed that lyricist Javed Akhtar initially disliked the title ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and left the project due to creative differences. However, after the film’s successful release, Akhtar admitted his mistake. The duo later collaborated on Karan’s 2003 film ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, which became a cherished experience for Johar.
