Throwback: When Juhi Chawla turned down the role of ‘Draupadi’ in BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat’

Juhi Chawla, popular for her roles in ‘Darr’ and ‘Ishq’, was originally cast as Draupadi in BR Chopra’s TV show ‘Mahabharat’. Despite passing the screen test, she opted out after signing ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ with Aamir Khan. Ultimately, Roopa Ganguly played Draupadi in the iconic series.
