Chief Minister M K Stalin credited former CM M Karunanidhi for securing the right for state chief ministers to hoist the national flag on Independence Day during his address at Fort St George. He highlighted Tamil Nadu’s job growth, upcoming industrial projects, and memorials for freedom fighters. Stalin also announced the establishment of a multi-modal cargo terminal in Kancheepuram.
