Truck runs over 5 people sleeping on central verge in Delhi’s Shastri Park; 3 dead, 2 critical

A speeding canter truck ran out of control in northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park and crushed five people sleeping on a central verge early Monday. Three died, and two were seriously injured. The truck driver fled the scene, and an investigation revealed pending traffic challans against the truck. Police have registered a case and summoned the truck owner for questioning.
