Security has been increased around the Nagpur bench of the Bombay high court and armed police guards deployed around the residences of two sitting judges who received death threats in a letter delivered to the court registrar a week ago. The letter, which reportedly carried the signature of a politician from Amravati, threatened to carry out a bomb attack in the event of an unfavourable verdict in a civil suit.
