Unity garden to have soil from all 11 districts of Delhi

A new garden called ‘Amrit Vatika’ will be developed in Delhi near the National War Memorial. The garden will be created using soil from all 11 districts of the capital, symbolizing unity. The project is part of the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign, which pays tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The campaign involved collecting soil from villages and urban areas across the country, which was then brought to the national capital. The names of the fallen heroes will be inscribed on the ‘Shilaphalakam’ as a local tribute.
