University of Southampton to be first UK institute to set up campus in India

The University of Southampton will be the first UK university to establish a campus in India under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) by the Ministry of Education, the university aims to enhance educational opportunities in India. Ranked among the top 100 globally by QS World Rankings 2025, it has been engaged with India for nearly 50 years.
