Upcoming hotels, townships to fetch Rs 4.5k cr biz in Ayodhya

Ayodhya has sanctioned eight townships and 15 private hotels, which are expected to generate private investments of Rs 4,500 crore. The development of the largest private township is underway, along with others from real estate companies in different states. The state and central governments are pushing for a complete makeover of the temple town and its urban infrastructure, attracting established private players. The Ayodhya Development Authority is fast-tracking applications for land parcels, while hospitality players are setting up hotels and resorts. The tourist department has identified properties for homestays.
