UPSC can now initiate Aadhaar Authentication for exams & recruitment

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to introduce voluntary Aadhaar authentication for candidates in exams and recruitment. This decision follows recent issues involving an IAS officer violating examination rules. The UPSC will adhere to the Aadhaar Act, and similar directives might be extended to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to ensure candidate identity verification.
