Upset over ‘police apathy’, man sets govt vehicle on fire in Karnataka

In Chitradurga, Prithviraj set fire to the Challakere tahsildar’s vehicle after police ignored his mother’s complaint. The flames were doused by office staff. Police arrested Prithviraj for damaging government property and obstructing duty. The tahsildar’s office staff have since requested protection while performing their duties.
