US envoy did not say spat may hit ties: Embassy

The US embassy has vehemently refuted media claims suggesting that Ambassador Eric Garcetti conveyed to his diplomatic team in New Delhi that the India-Canada dispute over the assassination of a pro-Khalistan leader might lead to tensions in US-India relations.
