Watch: India’s first bullet train terminal unveiled
Railways minister Ashwini Vaishnaw officially revealed the video showcasing India’s inaugural bullet train terminal at the Sabarmati Multimodal transport hub in Ahmedabad. The fancy terminal, designed with cutting-edge features, is set to welcome passengers. The project receives technical and financial support from the Government of Japan. The train will connect major cities in 2.07 hours, with a maximum speed of 350 km per hour. The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 1,08,000 Crore, with 81% covered by a Japanese soft loan.
