‘What West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s police doing in Bengal is real dictatorship’

Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan accused West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and state police of being dictatorial, responding to the rape and murder of a young doctor. Pradhan stated that attempts to suppress public anger would fail and criticized efforts to obstruct protests. The victim’s father expressed frustration with the inquiry’s lack of results and departmental non-cooperation.
