‘Will destroy Hamas for the sake of Israel, Gaza and entire world’: Israel Defence Forces

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have accused Hamas of stealing fuel and medical equipment from UN officers in Gaza, enough to power water desalination in the Strip for six days. The IDF spokesperson also alleged that Hamas is using civilians as human shields. In response, Hamas claimed to be holding between 200 and 250 hostages in Gaza, and vowed to protect and release them when conditions allow.
