Will have quota policy in our PhD intake, IIM-Ahmedabad tells HC

The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) has agreed to implement the SC/ST and OBC quota for its doctoral program, after resisting it for two years. This decision comes in response to a PIL filed by the Global IIM Alumni Network. While the institute has not specified when the policy will be implemented, modalities are being worked out. The IIMA had previously opposed the reservation policy, citing the global recognition of its program and potential injustice to other meritorious students.
