Woman dials Bengaluru airport, drops B-word to stop boyfriend from flying out
On June 26, Indra Rajwar, 29, from Pune, made a hoax bomb threat at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) to stop her boyfriend, Mir Raza Mehdi, from flying to Mumbai. A search cleared Mehdi, and the case was upgraded from non-cognizable to an FIR under IPC Section 505(1)(B). Rajwar, detained at the KIA police station, admitted her intent amid relationship differences. Both work in Bengaluru. Separately, CISF officials helped a woman recover a diamond ring at KIA, and at Virar railway station, a man attacked his wife. In another instance, a mother-daughter duo in Bengaluru stopped a thief. The police plan to file a report after further interrogation.
