Ravindra Jadeja’s exceptional bowling performance of five for 33 in the World Cup match against South Africa was praised by India’s head coach Rahul Dravid. Jadeja, however, denied being motivated by Dravid’s comments and credited the slow and spinner-friendly wicket in Kolkata for his success. He also acknowledged the advantage spinners have when the pacers take quick wickets. Virat Kohli’s century on his birthday was celebrated but not used as motivation by the team.
