World Cup, New Zealand vs Afghanistan: Afghans look to spin a web for Kiwis in Chennai

Afghanistan, fresh off their victory against England, will face New Zealand in the World Cup match at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. With a spin-friendly pitch at Chepauk, Afghanistan’s spinners, including leggie Rashid Khan, off-spinners Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, could pose a challenge for New Zealand. There is also a possibility of playing a fourth spinner, Noor Ahmad, who had a successful debut season in the IPL.
