Wrestler case: Brij Bhushan claims not in city on October 16, 17

BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh argued in a Delhi court that the oversight committee formed under the Posh Act has statutory value. The prosecution countered that the committee is not formed under the Act and cannot be compared to an internal complaint committee. The court is hearing arguments on charges against Singh in a sexual harassment case. Singh’s counsel highlighted contradictions in the dates of the incidents and argued that the allegations are beyond jurisdiction as they took place outside Delhi or outside India.
