Army’s canine hero Phantom dies in J&K encounter

A four-and-a-half-year-old Belgian Malinois named ‘Phantom’ of the Indian Army laid down his life during a counter-terror operation in Jammu’s Battal region. Phantom, trained in tracking and detecting explosives, played a crucial role in the operation that led to the elimination of three terrorists and ensuring soldiers’ safety.
