Companies on ORR want to buy Metro smart cards in bulk for their employees

Top company executives in Bengaluru are joining forces with civic activists to promote the use of public transport by their employees. They are working with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to explore bulk purchases of smart cards for their staff. The initiative aims to incentivize employees to use public transport by providing free passes or subsidies. The BMRCL confirmed that they have received enquiries from companies along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and in Whitefield for bulk purchases of smart cards. The initiative is part of the Personal2Public campaign to promote public transport usage.
