Congress calls for ‘forceful steps’ to shield Bangladesh minorities

Congress expressed concern over reported targeted attacks on minorities and their places of worship in Bangladesh, urging the interim government to take steps to ensure their safety and dignity. This followed BJP’s accusation that opposition parties were silent on the issues faced by Hindus and other minority communities in the neighbouring country.
