Govt should’ve brought bill to nullify SC ‘creamy layer’ verdict: Kharge

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge condemned the Supreme Court’s suggestion to include ‘creamy layer’ exclusion for Dalits regarding quotas. He urged the government to nullify this part of the judgement, alleging a BJP conspiracy to end reservations. The Congress plans to set up a committee to consult on sub-categorisation issues related to the judgement.
